Navigation Bar 2.0 is now live: New Era of Reorganizing
As Confluence rolls out its innovative new sidebar, which replaces the traditional top navigation bar, this plugin is set to unveil an exciting next-level feature: multiple navigation bars. In addition to this remarkable enhancement, we are also thrilled to introduce another essential feature that every admin will find invaluable.
- Multiple Navigation Bars
Have we ever encountered the concept of "multiple navigation bars"? It can be quite perplexing at first. To clarify, we are not referring to the new sidebar; rather, we are discussing the ability to switch between different navigation bars located at the top of the page. Indeed, you can create various "sets" of navigation bars and seamlessly switch to the one that best suits your needs.
An excess of items can easily overwhelm the reader
This plugin enables the creation of multiple navigation bars, addressing situations where a single navigation bar falls short. We understand that the workload for administrators can be overwhelming. Just think about the multitude of tasks they manage daily. While many plugins allow for the addition of numerous items to the navigation menu, this often leads to a cluttered and confusing interface, which is not beneficial.
To maintain an organized menu with a manageable number of items, it is essential to categorize and group them effectively. This approach not only simplifies navigation but also enhances the overall user experience. However, the challenge lies in achieving this messy task without compromising the visual appeal and comfort for the reader.
This add-on allows you to have multiple navigation bars, including a personalized one tailored to your preferences. Click on the dropdown arrow to switch navigation bar

2. Easy-to-navigate Navbar, CQL & External Link
This plugin not only elevates the visual appeal of your navigation bar but also prioritizes simplicity and functionality. A well-designed navigation bar is essential; it prevents overwhelming the user, as a cluttered and disorganized menu can disrupt focus and impede information processing, ultimately impacting daily productivity.
The advanced search feature in Confluence, known as CQL (Confluence Query Language), simplifies the process of locating content. Its primary benefit lies in its ability to significantly reduce the time spent searching for the right information, making your workflow more efficient.
CQL advanced search shows result from my recent activity
Each user generates unique CQL results based on the advanced search capabilities of their individual accounts, including external links. For instance, I personally access Gmail every day and check my calendar almost every hour. Often, I forget whether I've left one or two browsers open, hidden among various windows. It can be quite frustrating to click through all those windows just to locate a specific browser.
